Tikambhai Metha Commerce College(TMCC)

The Tikambhai Metha Commerce College is functioning in hilly area of Mangaon Dist. Raigad since 22nd June 1989. The college is tirelessly functioning to bring the first learning generation of this hilly area into the main stream of higher education particularly from socially deprived sections of the society.

College has campus area of 5.37 acres and is housed in the built-up area of 313.76 Sq.mt. It is a single faculty commerce college permanently affiliated to University of Mumbai. Our college faculties are experienced, committed & fully qualified. They participate and present papers in international, national, state level seminars, workshops and conferences. They also work in the capacity of paper setters, moderators, examiners, resource persons and on various university committees.

The College has well furnished & equipped classrooms, computer lab, administrative office, library with internet facility, staff room, girl’s common room, gymkhana, canteen facility, playground etc.

In the span of 25 years the college has brought up following laurels at its credit:

  • NAAC Accreditation.
  • Permanent affiliation from University of Mumbai.
  • Proposal submitted to UGC for inclusion in 2(f) & 12 (B).
  • Started Junior Commerce College “Smt. Savita Nilkanth Sawant Junior Commerce College”

The college also ensures physical, social and emotional development of students through academic, co – curricular and extra-curricular activities through the departments of Sports, Cultural Association, National Service Scheme (N.S.S.), Women Development Cell, etc.
